About Event: The Graduate Research Meet is an annual national seminar and researchers' meet conducted by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. We are inviting submissions from M.Phil. and Ph.D. research scholars, who are working in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. The following are the broad discipline of the Conference: Archaeology, Development Studies, Economics, English, Geography, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. The GRM Team encourages the students to submit research articles that are in line with the theme “Contemporary Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences” and are interdisciplinary in nature. These can be based on various sources including, ethnography, archival research, field visits, statistical analysis or any innovative research methodologies on social issues. The accepted submissions will be clustered around common topics and areas of interest. The final program (released approximately about two weeks before the conference) will mirror the research agendas of the delegates. Kindly note that this Conference is Open for Only Ph.D. and M.Phil. students and hence, persons with a Ph.D. cannot be an author or a co-author. Abstract(s) will get directly disqualified if it contains Names of the author(s) and any information of Institutional Affiliations of the Participant. | ||
